Adding a New Social Network

Adding all your social networks to the Synergy 8 dashboard will help cut down the time spent managing your social media presence, by allowing you to control all your social networks in one place.

Getting Started

Get started adding new social networks by selecting the "Social Networking" item from the left-hand sidebar of the Synergy 8 dashboard. If you have not added any social networks yet, you'll be presented with a welcome message asking which social network you would like to add.

If you have already added a social network and would like to add more, click the "New Social Network" button on the top right-hand side of the screen.

It's a good idea to open a new tab and login to your social network before adding it to the dashboard for the first time.

Adding a Facebook Account

To ensure the adding process is as smooth as possible, it's a good idea to login to your Facebook account in another tab before adding it to the dashboard.

After you've logged in to your Facebook account, click the "New Social Network" button, then select the Facebook option.

If you manage more than one page, Synergy 8 will allow you to select which feed to include in the dashboard.

Click "Continue" to add the selected feed to your social networks.

The adding process will change depending on your individual account setup, and you may be required to select "OK" multiple times to allow Synergy 8 to access your Facebook feed.
