Changing The E-mail Send Address

This article will discuss how to change the default e-mail address used to send e-mail marketing campaigns. You can also change the e-mail address on a per message basis.

Set The Default E-mail Address

The default e-mail address used to send e-mail marketing communication is set on the configuration page in the e-mail marketing area of the admin panel. To change the default e-mail address:

  1. Log in to the admin panel, select the "E-mail Marketing" link located under the "Marketing" heading in the left-hand sidebar.
  2. Click the "Configuration" button located towards the top of the page.
  3. Alter the "Default From Address" and "Default From Name" fields on this page to change the details of the default e-mail address to be used when sending e-mail marketing messages.

Please note: Only e-mail addresses which are set up in the control panel will appear as an option when setting the default e-mail address. You will need to create the e-mail account on the "E-mail Accounts" page if it has not been setup already.

Change The Send Address of an Individual Message

You can also change the send address of an individual message. When composing a message, click the "Additional Attributes" tab at the top of the page to view the additional options of the message. The settings available on this tab will allow you to change the "From Address" and "From Name" of an individual message.
