Affiliate Commission

You can track each referred website visit, new contact and sale using an affiliate. You also have the option to specifying a commision value for each referral, and then track payments made to your affiliates.

Setting Up Affiliate Commission

  1. Login to the admin panel of your website and click the "Affiliates" link, located under the "Commerce" heading in the left sidebar.
  2. Click the Affiliate and click the edit button. Any changes made on this page will not be live on the website until the "save changes" button at the bottom of the page is clicked.
  3. From the edit page, Select the "Affiliate Profile" tab at the top of the form.
  4. Underneath the 'Affiliate Options' section, you can specify how much commission is earned for each action the user performs. For example, a user that registers on your website can be allocated a larger commision compared to a user that only visits a page.
  5. Once you are happy with the commission settings, click "Save Affiliate" to save any changes you have made.

Paying Affiliates

  1. Login to the admin panel of your website and click the "Affiliates" link, located under the "Commerce" heading in the left sidebar.
  2. Click the Affiliate that you plan to pay and select the "Payments" tab.
  3. From the Payments table, Select the "Record Payment" button at the top of the table.
  4. From the "Record Payment" option, record the date of the payment.
  5. Set the payment status to Paid or Requested.
  6. Check that payment details are correct.
  7. If you are provided with a transaction id enter it in the "Transaction Id / Reference" field.
  8. Enter the amount that you want to pay the affiliate.
  9. Click the "Record Payment" button at the bottom of the form.
